Overview:
The logo design for Pa Kai and Pa Kids was crafted to embody the spirit and values of the Māori community, particularly focusing on family (whānau) and children (tamariki). Our goal was to create a visual symbol that resonates deeply with both the cultural heritage and the educational mission of the organisation. The new logo integrates traditional Māori design elements like the wharenui , and the shooting star Kahukura. This strengthens their visual identity and also serves as a cultural beacon for the community they serve. We used traditional colours to attract and engage their young audience, while maintaining a sense of warmth and inclusivity, essential for family-oriented services.
